THE HEALTHIEST
VERSION OF YOU

A Student Wellness Toolkit for SWU PHINMA Pre-Medicine Students

Every person's "healthiest self" is unique. Our bodies, minds, living environments, and individuals all have varied influences on our lives. Each of these factors can have an impact on our overall health. This means that every one of us has a unique set of health requirements. We can have a significant impact on our ability to learn and flourish academically and in our lives by taking little steps to enhance one's well-being and personal development.

With an emphasis on whole-person wellness, the Pre-Medicine Collegiate Council recognizes that healthy students can better embrace their calling. With the objective that all Pre-Medicine students thrive throughout their college years and beyond—and as realization hits that personal wellness is an essential aspect to thriving as a competent and accomplished college student.

PMCC STUDENT WELLNESS TOOLKIT

We Put Your Wellbeing First

The transition to virtual learning caused significant stress and disruption to students' academic endeavors. Students' ability to study and accomplish is hampered by the extended and stressful nature of our current reality, which includes a global pandemic, economic difficulties, and an unpredictable future. Integrating wellness into the digital platform is now more vital than ever. While the digital world introduces new obstacles, it also introduces new tools and opportunities.

The toolkit program will create a support network that any SWU PHINMA Pre-Medicine Community Member (students, and even the staff, instructors, and administration) can benefit from. The PMCC humbly believes students who take advantage of the toolkit program will be better equipped to conquer the challenges of college life and are more capable of reaching their diverse learning potential. With that, this toolkit program intends to provide you:

YOU'RE NOT GOING THROUGH IT ALONE

The COVID-19 pandemic has unhinged the lives of students across the globe. Multiple prevention and control measures which has resulted in a new normal education set-up focusing on college students may lead them to have different degrees of burnout, isolation and some things students are trying hard to find out what.

With this, open your doors and speak with us. Peer consultation counters isolation and burnout by promoting a sense of community, collegiality, and connection!
